Solbacken is open year-round as a camp and conference center and transforms into a camping site during the summer months.
You can choose from a variety of comfortable accommodation options, ranging from tents and caravans to cabins, rooms, or apartments. The campsite offers pitches with electricity and designated tent areas. The self-catering cabins are equipped with a fridge, kettle, and microwave. Additional accommodations include dormitory-style rooms and private rooms in the charming Yellow Villa (Gula Villan). On the terrace, you’ll find eight fully equipped apartments featuring a shower, WC, kitchen, and a breathtaking view from the terrace.
Services and Facilities
The service building includes showers, toilets, a kitchen, and laundry facilities. During the summer, an outdoor kitchen is also available. The reception is located in the Yellow Villa, which also features a summer café serving coffee, refreshing drinks, and ice cream. The pool area, featuring a heated pool and a children’s pool, is open throughout the camping season.

If you are arriving from the south of Sweden:
Follow Järvedsleden past Järved and continue through Bonäset. In Bodum, turn right towards Dekarsön where you will also see a sign for the campsite. Follow the road as indicated by the sign. At the Y-junction, keep left and you are almost there.
If you are arriving from the north:
Turn left in Idbyn and drive towards Bodum. From there, follow the campsite signs as described above.
