Jormvattnets Fiskecamp
Jormvattnets Fiskecamp invites you to a beautiful area in northern Jämtland, surrounded by natural beauty. The campsite is located in the scenic surroundings of Frostviken, along the Vildmarksvägen road.
Jormvattnets Fiskecamp is located right on the shore of Lake Jormsjön and offers a number of different accommodation options. Here you can stay in a cottage or in your own caravan, motorhome or tent.
The campsite has several electricity points for caravans and motorhomes. Guests coming with a tent can pitch it and enjoy the nature and fantastic views.
Cottages are available in different configurations and sizes. The campsite offers cottages that sleep 2, 4 or 6. Some cottages are also equipped with a kitchen and toilet. The service building is available for guests on site.
Services and facilities
The campsite’s service building is well equipped with a kitchen, fish cleaning room, laundry room, showers and sauna. The campsite also has a barbecue area, and a café, which is open from midsummer until early August.

Take advantage of the peace and quiet and all the nature experiences at your fingertips. At Jormvattnet Fiskecamp you are close to fantastic fishing waters within the Jormvattnet Fisheries Management Area, perfect for those who want to try their luck at fishing. Take a boat trip on the mirror-like lake, enjoy the lovely beach or explore the area and hike through the forest. There is also a small playground for children. Dogs are welcome to swim in the lake a short distance from the small beach.

There are many exciting excursion destinations nearby. Only 50 kilometres from the campsite is Stekenjokk, along the Wilderness Road. There is a beautiful Sami village in Ankarede, just 23 kilometres away. Northern Europe’s longest canyon, with the mighty 42-metre Hällingså Falls, is only 53 kilometres from the campsite. The Bjurälven Nature Reserve lies within 36 kilometres, where you can embark on an adventure through the dramatic landscape of the nature reserve, just one of many hiking opportunities available in the immediate area.
