In Borgsjö, on the E14 motorway between Sundsvall and Östersund, you will find the Borgsjö Strand, open year round. The facility is beautifully located between the shore of Lake Borgsjön and the foot of Bergåsen and is well situated for those heading north towards the mountains: Åre, Duved, Storlien, Vemdalen, etc.

West of Sundsvall and southeast of Östersund, Borgsjö is located along the E14 motorway. Here you will find Borgsjö Strand. The campsite has 25 pitches with electricity outlets and plenty of tent pitches. The campsite also has 6 cottages and 4 B&B rooms. Those walking/cycling the Saint Olav trail can book a bed in Pilgrimsstugan (The Pilgrim’s Cottage). The reception is in the restaurant.

Find your favourite spot

At the campsite you can choose where you want to park your motorhome, camper or tent. Find your favourite spot and set up camp for a night or more. There are large grassy areas for play and games. There is also a playground and a wood-fired sauna by the lake. Borgsjö Strand is idyllically located on the shore of Lake Borgsjön with easy access to swimming and fishing.

Not just accommodation but a restaurant as well

Borgsjö Strand has a restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. If you don’t want to cook when you’re on holiday, you can eat in the restaurant, which offers a wide-ranging menu and take-away. You can also have a glass of wine or beer with your meal.

The site is particularly well located for those travelling to or from the mountains, Åre, Vemdalen, Storlien or Duved for example.
