Rätans Camping
On the shores of Lake Rätanssjön in Jämtland you will find Rätans Camping – a year-round campsite offering pitches and charming cottages. Surrounded by watercourses rich in fish and embraced by forest and nature, Rätans Camping invites you to enjoy a wonderful experience in nature regardless of the season.
Rätans Camping has pitches for tents, motorhomes and caravans. There are also three self-catering cottages for those who prefer, each with four beds and fully equipped with a shower and toilet, as well as five smaller cottages each with four beds and without showers or toilets. Whichever accommodation option you choose, the beach next to Lake Rätanssjön, the reception and the service building are all close by (please note that the reception and swimming area are open from June to mid-August).
Service building and amenities
At Rätans Camping you will find a well-equipped service building with toilets and showers. There is also a kitchen with washing-up facilities and dining areas as well as an oven and microwave. A lounge with a TV is also available for relaxing and socialising.
Activities and excursions
Rätans Camping provides scenic experiences all year round. Explore the area’s nice footpaths, pick berries in the grounds around the campsite or make use of one of the fireplaces for a barbecue. The wonderful beach below the campsite is perfect for children and adults.
