Åsarna Skicenter

Åsarna Skicenter offers camping pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes. The campsite also features cabins, cabin apartments and a hostel, all equipped for self-catering.

In the hostel, you stay in a private room and share the kitchen, bathroom facilities and TV area with other guests. The cabins and cabin apartments provide more privacy, featuring a private kitchen, bathroom and TV – a comfortable option for families and longer stays.

On site, you can also explore historical trophies and memorabilia celebrating Åsarna IK’s successful cross-country skiers throughout the years.

Set alongside the River Ljungan, the area offers excellent fishing opportunities and a beautifully located swimming area. The location makes it easy to enjoy outdoor activities all year round. Snowmobile trails extend for many kilometres throughout the region and up into the mountains, with a direct connecting trail from the Skicenter. Just around the corner, you’ll find well-groomed cross-country ski tracks forming a trail network of approximately 60 kilometres. The ski lifts and slopes of the Klövsjö–Vemdalsfjällen ski area are within 20 kilometres.

The surrounding area also features cycling, running and hiking trails, as well as access to a variety of activities. Nearby, you can find a golf course, go-kart track and riding school, along with much more to discover and experience in the village known as “Guldbyn”.
