Camp Viking
Close to nature in the wonderful Jämtland
Camp Viking is a quiet family campsite open all year round, close to nature in the beautiful Jämtland. It is situated right next to Lake Revsundssjön and close to the E14. Relax in a scenic environment and enjoy good food and nice Belgian beer on the bistro terrace, which faces the lake, or let the children run off steam on the campsite’s generous green areas.
Water and the latrine emptying are available for motorhomes.
There are approx. 40 pitches, most with electricity. We welcome caravans, motorhomes and tents. Water and latrine emptying provided specially for those with motorhomes.
Child-friendly beach, sauna, mini-zoo, etc.
If you prefer activity over rest, there is plenty to choose from. As well as the surrounding nature, there is a beach with swimming, hot tub, sauna and much more. Why not borrow a cycle or kickbike? The goats at the campsite’s own mini-zoo and playground are popular with the little ones.
Canoeing, fishing and much more
If you’re hungry for adventure and experiences outside the campsite, there’s lots to get your teeth into. In the summer, we recommend fishing or canoeing on the lake. For landlubbers, there are nice hiking and cycling trails nearby. In the winter, you can ski downhill or go on a snowmobile safari. In other words, there is something for everyone all the year round.
Camp Viking in brief
Camp Viking is run by the couple Petra and André, two Belgians who after many years as tourists in Sweden’s nature decided to turn their dream into reality – to run a campsite for other nature lovers.
A warm welcome to the scenic Camp Viking!
