Kläppens Camping

During the summer, a visit to Kläppens Camping is about activities and experiences in nature. Around the campsite there is a rich wildlife, and if you are lucky then you can get acquainted with both elk and beaver. In the river it is also good to paddle canoe.

In the river there is plenty of fish, but if it is brave you just stop at the nearby fish pond in Gråheden, there is implanted rainbow that chops fresh! There are other good fishing lakes nearby. Or why not take a refreshing dip in the bathing lake?

Kläppens Camping in Dalarna is suitable for those who want to experience nature, its beauty and silence during the summer and for those who want to be active and experience adventure.

Our campsite has pitches with electricity, and many are on the shore of Västerdalälven River. Every year, more and more people choose to pitch their caravan with us in the winter season to maximise their use of it.
The campsite is just 400 m from the first lift of the Kläppen system. If you prefer cross-country skiing, just put on your skis outside the caravan – the tracks cross the campsite.

Logen is the part of the service building that has the kitchen, dining room, children’s room with their own TV corner and social rooms. Play table tennis, darts or family games between meals or evening activities. In short, we have everything to make winter camping a nice, pleasant experience!
