Located beside the beautiful Strömsholm Canal in the heart of Mälardalen, Skantzö Bad & Camping is a peaceful family-friendly campsite offering cabin accommodation as well as pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents.
The campsite has around 200 pitches, of which 25 can be booked in advance. The remaining pitches are available for drop-in. A selection of cabins in various sizes and styles is also available.
Plenty to do on site
Everything you need for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday is close at hand. Guests have free access to three heated outdoor pools throughout their stay, as well as spacious green areas for relaxation and play. During the peak season, family-friendly activities are organised several evenings each week.
There are plenty of opportunities for an active holiday. Play adventure golf or pétanque, go canoeing or enjoy a day of fishing. Bring your own bicycle or hire one on site and explore the scenic surroundings along the Strömsholm Canal.

There is also plenty to experience nearby. Visit Åsby Hem & Trädgård, a popular destination for plants, home décor and garden inspiration, or Åsby Kött & Vilt, renowned for its high-quality meats and local delicacies.
Just next to the campsite is the Skantzen Canal Museum, where the history of the Strömsholm Canal is brought to life through historic tools and artefacts. The adjoining heritage centre hosts traditional Midsummer celebrations, local theatre performances and live entertainment every Wednesday evening throughout July.
Hallstahammar town centre, with restaurants, shops and a full range of services, is less than one kilometre from the campsite.
