Camping Tiveden
Camping Tiveden is a peaceful place to stay surrounded by beautiful nature close to the east shore of the clear lake Unden. You can stay in a comfortable cabin, or in your own motorhome, caravan or tent. Very welcome !
Camping Tiveden is a nice campsite surrounded by the wonderful nature of the National Park Tiveden, at the east shore of the clear lake Unden. It has large grass areas for motorhomes, caravans and tents. It also has a central playground-area for children.
The campsite has approximately 75 pitches of which 65 have electrical hook-up. The toilet building has clean showers. A kitchenette is found at the back of this building. On the beach are grill facilities and a barbecue cottage that accomodates max 10 guests. Having a barbecue at Unden sunset is like a dream!
There also is a sauna, really relaxing!
We can offer you opportunities to fish char, pike and perch in lake Unden and surrounding lakes. With a little luck and a suitable boat you might catch the biggest char of your life! Fishing licenses for all lakes can be purchased at the campsite. There is the Tivedens canoe trail, which starts in lake Bosjön and finishes at Camping Tiveden, about 15 km long, is a trip in beautiful and exiting surroundings.
It is possible to swim at the campsite in one of the clearest water of Sweden. At lake Trehörningen, near Vitsand in Tivedens Nationalpark you find a sand- beach. The Bergslagsleden trail is part of European hiking trail no. 1, which stretches between Southern Italy to the Swedish mountains. Stage 16 and 17 go through Tiveden. Also the Munkastigen trail is nearby.
New long-distance footpaths from the campsite. Riding for children and adults with guide. New bridleways by Ridleder Tiveden. Suitable overnight accommodation available for horse and rider when you plan a ridingtour through Tiveden.

From the north: On the E20 between Göteborg and Stockholm are the towns of Mariestad and Örebro. Drive west from Örebro, or east from Mariestad, until you reach the village of Finnerödja. (Finnerödja is usually available in your navigation device) Leave the E20 at Finnerödja toward the south, toward Tived. 18km down this very road you will find the entrance to our camping at your right hand side. From the south. Coming from the south, for example from Malmö, then you will find on the E4 the roundabout of Jönköping (keep left on the E4 when getting close to Jönköping). From there follow the 195 road toward Hjo and after Hjo the 195 and 49 toward Karlsborg. (Karlsborg is usually available in your navigation device) After Karlsborg you can follow road 202 into Undenäs, or instead follow the 49 a little further into Granvik. With a motorhome or caravan we advise to take the route via Undenäs. At Granvik exit left or at Undenäs exit right to follow the signs toward Tived. Tived is a area of several small villages that you will pass through. When you pass the village Sannerud (white church) our camping is about 3.5km further. You'll find the Camping Tiveden on your left hand side.
