Värnäs Camping

Värnäs Camping is a small family campsite in the northern parts of Värmland, beautifully situated by Klarälven (River). There are 3 ponds in the area - one for bathing and 2 for fishing. The fishing ponds contain game fish for catch-and-release fishing.

You can also try your luck fishing in the calm waters of Klarälven, Väråns rapids or other fishing water in the Norra Ny fishing conservation area. Fishing licences can be bought at reception. We also have fishing equipment for sale.

Paddling a canoe on Klarälven is really a lovely and relaxing experience. The canoes can be hired at reception. We can also arrange transport upstream, so you can then paddle downstream back to the campsite at your own pace.

There is a hiking trail which starts by the tent pitches. The trail goes to Fänstjärnsskogen, a nature reserve with an ancient forest (5-6 km). You can also take the car and just walk the last kilometer.
