Stenrösets Camping Trollhättan

Stenrösets Camping, a tranquil and pleasant campsite with nice nature, lies 5 km south of the beautiful town Trollhättan with it's many outdoor cafés, many with a view over Göta River. And Göteborg is 60 km to the south, a comfortable distance for a day trip.

Close to 9-hole golf course with driving range. It is possible to walk or cycle from the campsite to Göta Älv, with it's 6 locks and a 44 m difference in level from top to bottom it is a popular tourist attraction.

Another popular tourist attraction is Trollhättefallen (falls) with a total drop of 32 m and during the summer the dam opens three times daily. For those who are interested in animals and nature, Halle and Hunneberg are 20 km away. These mountains are known for the abundance of Elk and for it's partially virgin nature and plant life. The beautiful lake Vänern, Sweden's largest lake, is located at the foot of Halleberg is famous for both it's salmon fishing and many wonderful bathing places.

Within cycling distance from the camping are many nice smaller bathing and fishing lakes, with good trout fishing. The camping site is made up of grassy areas with room for about 50 caravans or tents, many pitches with electricity.

There are 2 giant trampolines for the older children and, among other things, a sandbox and swings for the smaller ones.

The service shop is always well-stocked and there you will find the reception area with it's friendly staff.

Stay in comfortable, cosy cottages that are equipped for winter habitation. We offer accommodation in newly built self-catering cottages and basic cabins with kitchen, shower and WC in a shared building.
