Gröne Backe Camping & Stugor
Lakeside campsite for nature lovers
Nestled west of Sweden's largest lake, Vänern, the small region of Dalsland offers a picturesque blend of mountains, deep forests, fields, and lakes. Often referred to as "miniature Sweden", Dalsland is home to Ed and Gröne Backe Camping. Numerous rock carvings and prehistoric remains show that Dalsland has been a popular destination for a long time.
The campsite provides pitches for caravans, motorhomes, tents, 4-bed cabins with or without a bathroom, and fully equipped mobile homes for 4 to 6 people.
An Eldorado for canoeists, cyclists, and anglers
There are many fantastic lakes and waterways to explore, with drinking-quality water in many areas. Exciting hiking trails are available in Sweden's youngest national park, Tresticklan, just ten kilometers north of the campsite. You can also catch Arctic char in the nearby lake.
Ed is an Eldorado for canoeists, cyclists, anglers, and hikers, but also perfect for those who want to relax in nature.
If the mood strikes you after a day outdoors, you might find it appealing to relax in the campsite's wood-fired sauna on Lilla Le while the sun slowly sets.
