Marstrands Familjecamping

Marstrand's family camping site is located in a delightful archipelago setting, only 40 km from Gothenburg, and you're close to all you need to make your holiday an unforgettable experience. The site is located in a peaceful and beautiful natural area. It takes only 15 minutes to walk to the ferry which will take you to the car-free island of Marstrand.

It is about 100 metres to the sea and the child-friendly sandy beach. You can also find your own hideaway among the rocks and have a delightful day sunbathing or swimming. If you want to try your fishing luck, we can help you to hire a boat or book a place on one of the larger fishing boats which run organised tours.

You can make a fascinating trip to Carlsten fortress, where you can soak in the historic atmosphere among the dungeons and underground corridors. Guided tours are also available.

In the evening you can take a stroll along the quayside or visit one of the island's delightful restaurants or cafés. Or why not challenge the family and friends to a round on the camping site's minigolf course?

Plus: golf (10 km), diving centre and canoe hire (1 km). Children's activities 2 or 3 times a week.
