Daftö Resort with Kosterhavet as its nearest neighbour is only 5 km south of the beautiful Bohuslän coastal town of Strömstad. Daftö is a five-star campsite and resort with cottages, pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents, a hotel and a guest harbour. There is a shop, restaurants, pool area, paddle courts, wellness area, adventure golf, jetty sauna, hiking trails and outdoor gym, Daftöland amusement park, pirates and a wide range of activities.

Accommodation
Here you can stay in one of the 130 cottages, check in to the hotel Pirathotellet, moor your boat in the guest harbour or stay in your own caravan/motorhome or tent on one of the 830 pitches, all the year round. Choose sea views or proximity to Daftöland amusement park. All the pitches for caravans/motorhomes have electricity, TV sockets and water and sewer connection. Hot water is always included as is free Wi-Fi.

The cottages vary in size and standard, ranging from small basic 2-bed cabins to well-equipped and exclusive 8-bed cottages with shower, toilet and dishwasher. Pirathotellet offers themed rooms with all the pirates’ treasures from their years at sea. Family rooms with large furnished balconies.

Lots lot to do for young and old
During the summer, the Daftö pirates take the adventure-loving guests on crazy antics at the facility, in the archipelago or at Daftöland. Daftöland is an amusement park with attractions, games and park pirates. Don’t miss the trip to Treasure Island together with the pirates or the Daftökampen challenge for the whole family.

If you would like to discover more of Bohuslän, we recommend a boat trip to the Koster islands, one of the sunniest places in Sweden. If you’re in luck you may see the odd harbour seal on your way to Kosterhavet National Park. Step ashore on Ursholmen and hike to Sweden’s westernmost lighthouse and enjoy a panoramic view with glimpses of Norway on the horizon. Learn about the history of the lighthouse keepers who lived there in the past or experience real shrimp fishing on an archipelago trip at sea.
