Getnö Gård - Lake Åsnen Resort

Getnö Gård is a full-service tourist and conference facility in Småland. The barn has been converted into a service building with reception, farm shop, café, restaurant, information centre, pub, conference rooms and a private farm museum. There are 17 holiday cottages for hire and a 3-star natural campsite located out on our islands. The many activities to choose from include angling, canoeing and bicycling.

Sportfiskecentrum:
Getnö Gård is an angling centre in Lake Åsnen (155 km²). Lake abound with many species of fish, such as pike, pike-perch, perch, eel, and some twenty whitefish. Fishing methods are spinning, trolling, jigging, angling and fly-fishing. There are also “put-and-take” waters with rainbow trout and carp. Our fishing guides can help you with fishing methods and where to find the best spots to catch fish. Getnö has both fishing boats and fishing equipment for hire.

Kanotsafari:
There is a canoe centre at Getnö Gård, complete with Inkas Canadians, and all the equipment a canoeist could possible need. We offer canoe and kayak rentals in the scenic “Värendsleden”, a 120-km canoe trail that runs from Asa in the north, to Fridafors in the south. Lake Åsnen is the largest lake in River Mörrum’s water system. We offer canoe packages with different route suggestions from weekend trips to two-week trips. Your nature experience is best enjoyed from a canoe.

Cykling:
We have some twenty touring bikes for hire so you can enjoy the scenic forest routes along the shores of Lake Åsnen. Banvallsleden and Åsnen-Runt are examples of routes in the area.

Logi:
Getnö Gård offers 17 self-catering holiday cottages of various comfort levels and sizes. From 2 beds (12 m²) to 14 beds (200 m²), and from contemporary newly built cottages to renovated crofts. The cottages are scenically located and enjoy privacy with access to private swimming and boat jetty. Some cottages have their own sauna or access to nearby sauna. 2 completely new cottages built in 2007.

***Nature campsite, scenically located on the shores of Lake Åsnen:
Our 3-star nature campsite is beautifully located by the beach, on a grassy forest and meadowland with 150 generously sized camping pitches. Each pitch has a campfire and barbecue spot. Experience the beautiful nature on a stroll along our 3, 4 and 5-km paths. There are also several activities in the area, such as beach volleyball, boules, tennis and miniature golf.
