Things to do
Possible day-trips are a "cultural round" to Arvika with Klässbols linen weaving, Rackstads museum as well as Frykdals tour with Rottneros Park and Selma Lagerlöfs estate on the agenda.
Daily bus trips to downtown Karlstad beautifully situated by Klarälven (river). One of Sweden's largest shopping centres is within 4 km of the camping site.
Bomstadbaden is located beside a large open-air recreation center with many trails to enjoy.

Location
By the lake Vänern 9 km west of the centre of Karlstad and 2 km south of E18.
CABINS
The campsite offers fresh 4–6 bed self-catering cottages with views of Lake Vänern. The cottages have large living room with sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, bedroom with double bed (divisible), bedroom with bunk bed, shower, WC, TV. There are also newly renovated comfort cottages, 2-4 beds, with smaller kitchen, shower, WC, TV, bunk bed and sofa bed. Basic cabins are also available. Furthermore, they offer 2 static caravans and 11 youth hostel rooms.
