Harge Bad & Camping is a family campsite offering both camping and cottage accommodation. We have a grocery store, pool with waterslide, miniature golf course and restaurant with a fantastic view of the Hargeviken bay.
One of the nicest lakeside beaches in Sweden can be found by the north end of Lake Vättern. It is a long, child-friendly sandy beach where the water is always wonderfully crystal clear. Right here, by “Nerike’s Riviera,” is where Harge Bad & Camping is located, surrounded by the magnificent nature of northern Lake Vättern.
Harge Bad & Camping is a family campsite that offers camping and cottage accommodation. There are camping pitches for caravans, motorhomes, and tents, as well as cottages of different sizes, prices, and comfort. There is also a grocery store, pool with a waterslide, miniature golf course, and restaurant with a fantastic view of Hargeviken Bay.
Swimming in the lake or the pool?
If you enjoy swimming, Harge is the place to be. You can enjoy a swim in shallow waters from the diving tower or in the tempered pool with a waterslide. The long natural beach is child-friendly and a great place for younger children to build sandcastles and safely splash in the water.
The area around the campsite offers wonderful nature, jogging tracks, Harge Uddar with a walking trail, and Lake Vättern with free fishing. In summer, activities with a water theme are arranged, such as swimming school, crawling classes, and kayaks for hire.
Harge, with its nature and pool area, is perfect for camp activities for school classes, associations, and clubs, especially swimming and triathlon clubs, who wish to combine relaxing moments with training. The campsite offers a 25-metre pool with four lanes, open waters, jogging tracks, and bike training in one of the toughest hills along the Vätternrundan bicycle course, located 2 km from the campsite.

What suits you best, camping life or high comfort? Sleeping cottage: 16 m², 4 beds and eating area both inside and out on the veranda. Camping cottage: 16 m², 4 beds in bunk beds and sofa bed, as well as eating area both inside and out on the veranda. The cottage is equipped with a Trinette (3-in-1) kitchen, cold water and china for 4 people. Loft cottage: 2 rooms and loft on 53 m² with 6 beds. Spacious cottage with combined kitchen and living room by a south-facing veranda. The cottage offers high comfort: TV/DVD, well-equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, WC and sauna, as well as a wonderful veranda with lounge furniture and barbecue.
