Ursand Resort & Camping

The scenic Ursand Resort & Camping is located right by the shores of Lake Vänern, just a few kilometers from Vänersborg. Here, the family and children are always in focus – and there's always something to do. Playgrounds, pool area, sandy beach, opportunities for exercise – and the chance to enjoy good food and beverages.

There are mobile homes and cottages of various sizes and pitches for caravans or motorhomes. Those interested in camping or experiencing glamping with a scenic view of Lake Vänern's shore can do so.

Activities
At Ursand Resort & Camping, you can always find something to do – whether the sun is shining or not. Take a dip in the heated pools, zip down the water slide, or feel the sand between your toes on one of the country's finest sandy beaches along Lake Vänern's edge. You can also play adventure golf, take a walk on the beautiful trails, or challenge friends to paddle. There's also shuffleboard, billiards, table tennis, an outdoor arena, and an outdoor gym. For children, there's both Kidz Club and Teen Club, a challenging adventure course, a mini-zoo with black-nosed sheep, and even a game house for rainy days or evenings.

After your body has worked, you can book a relaxing session in the spa area – with saunas, tanning beds, and a jacuzzi.

There's also a nice conference section with space for 80 people. You can come here for work, for weddings, or for parties.

Restaurant
Friends Kitchen & Bar has been expanded with both indoor and outdoor seating. Downstairs at Restaurant Bryggan, you'll find one of the country's most beautiful views. At both places, there are entertainment and quiz nights. There are, of course, full liquor licenses.

Ursand Resort also offers Midsummer celebrations with dancing around the Midsummer pole. Welcome to Ursand – the family's paradise!

Nearby
Halle- and Hunneberg, known for their moose, are not far from here. On Hunneberg, you'll also find the Royal Hunting Museum. For golf enthusiasts, Onsjö Golf Course is nine kilometers from Ursand. For shopping, it's only six kilometers to the city center, and in the summer, you can take Ursand's mini-train there.
