Welcome to Mjölknabbens Camping in Småland. A quiet family campsite in a scenic area.

Mjölknabbens Camping is located by the shore of Lake Åsnen on Sirkön with its wonderful nature. The campsite is surrounded by grazing, planted meadows and mixed forest.

The campsite covers an area of 25,000 m2 and has a 250 m beach. The campsite is located on a slope down to the lake and is built on three levels with 50 pitches, of which 36 have electricity. Mjölknabbens Camping is a quiet and harmonious place of relaxation for the body and soul.

The service building has WCs, showers, washing-up and cooking facilities, washing machine and tumble dryer. It is 14 km from a grocer’s shop, bank and post office, 35 km from Växjö and 25 km from Tingsryd.

Why not hire a boat and enjoy a wonderful fishing trip in one of the many bays? There’s lots of fish, including pike, pikeperch and perch. If you don’t want to row, we have engines. Or hire a canoe and experience the lovely island world of Åsnen and all the seabirds, which include black-throated diver and osprey. Some of the islands are therefore bird preservation areas in the summer.

Our boat and guest harbour is used by birdwatchers in late autumn and winter when the sea eagles are fed outside the campsite. On a good day, you can see about 20 sea eagles at a time.

A nice, small swimming area on site. The swimming is very child-friendly and shallow with a sandy bottom. About 75 m outside the swimming area, a 15 m2 floating stage is anchored.

In the morning, you’ll be woken by the singing of small birds. In the evening, you can barbecue by one of our fireplaces, listen to the black-throated diver call across the lake and enjoy the peace and quiet.
