Skutbergets Camping enjoys a scenic location by Lake Vänern, 7 km west of Karlstad centre.

The campsite is part of a recreation area with facilities to suit rest and activity in a beautiful Vänern setting.

If you like to keep busy, swim in Vänern from sand and rock beaches, play minigolf, beach volleyball, frisbee golf or boule or cycle on the mountain bike course. For joggers there are exercise tracks of varying lengths, some with electric lighting. The exercise centre at the recreation area has a strength training room, sauna, gymnasium and cafeteria. The exercise centre also offers massage. There are several barbecue places on the site. The restaurant is open during the summer season.

Suggestions for places to visit: close to Bergvik Shopping Centre, Karlstad centre with cafeterias and shopping, Värmland Museum, Marieberg Forest and Alsters Herrgård.
